  • Sports Massage

Sport Massage has three components. The first is Pre-Event Massage, the second is Post-Event Massage, and the third is Maintenance Massage. Pre-Event Massage is designed to decrease the risk of injury, and typically lasts 10-15 minutes so the athlete does not get overworked before an event. Post-Event Massage is used to decrease muscle spasms, relax tight muscles, and to flush out metabolic wastes. Maintenance Massage can incorporate a variety of muscle therapy treatments, depending on the needs of the athlete.

    Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is employed to relieve chronic pain. It is a detailed treatment, involving the deeper muscles and connective tissue.

    Shiatsu

Shiatsu is an ancient technique using finger pressure on accupuncture points and incorporates numerous stretches. This type of treatment is effective because it balances the vital energy in our bodies called Chi. Shiatsu is usually performed on a mat with the client clothed.

    Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is comprised of a variety of certain techniques that uses cream or oil, and aids in relaxing the muscles of the body. The strokes include effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, friction, and vibration to the soft tissues of the body, with emphasis on increasing circulation and relieving muscle tension. Active and passive range of motion and joint movements are incorporated during a treatment session.

    Reflexology

Reflexology is a complementary therapy applied to the feet. It is a relaxing blend of hand, thumb, and finger techniques intended to stimulate specific points in the feet that correspond to the parts of the body in order to help restore and maintain homeostasis. Reflexology is suitable for all ages and lifestyles.

Reflexology is great for reducing stress, improving circulation and a therapeutic way to relax, rejuvenate, and revitalize yourself.
